Air-Flo Synthetic Compressor Oil Air-Flo AF10 synthetic compressor oil are unique combinations of quality diester base-stocks and additives . This oil is made for all ages and design-types of reciprocating compressors. Why use snythetic? Synthetic base fluids are man-made petrochemicals with performance-enhancing additives. The oil molecules are arranged to develop unique lubricants for specific applications, giving synthetics significant advantages versus their petroleum-based competitors. Benefits include: Increased life of lubricant-- Up to 8000 hours between changes Lower deposit formation. Increased wear protection resulting in longer machinery life and less maintenance. Improved cold weather flow characteristics. Reduces energy costs thanks to increased lubricity. Air-Flo AF10 reciprocating oil is compatible with almost all elastomers used in compressors including the paint used in crancases. It is recommended that any carbon deposits be removed from the compressor before changing to this oil. Use what the big compressors use, Air-Flo AF10. 1 gallon.
